The Rev. John H Duckworth is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota where he majored in English, Speech and Drama. He is also the graduate of Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas where he majored in Pastoral Theology and Biblical Interpretation. Since 1976 he has pastored nine churches in South Dakota, Kansas, Wyoming, California, Montana and Idaho before coming to Richland. For several years John was a frequent speaker on The Layman’s Hour, a national Christian radio program.

For 49 years John has been married to the Rev. Dr. Patricia G Duckworth. John and Patti have two sons, Doug and James (Elisabeth) and two grand daughters, Opal and Marigold.

John’s call to ministry is based on Ephesians 4:11-16 … To equip the Saints for works of service in order to build up the Body of Christ.
